Emily couldn’t be more excited to welcome her baby boy in a few short weeks. She wanted document this time of her being pregnant and the moments before her little guy comes earth side. Emily mentioned in her questionnaire that is sent before each session that she wanting to do more fine art naked photos to really capture the true essence of pregnancy and how she naturally looks. Strategic nude posing is becoming more and more of a common request with my clients and I’m all for it. We’re here to show the rawness of pregnancy and embrace how your body naturally looks. Pregnancy birth is amazing and your body changes and is able to push out a human. It a crazy beautiful amazing experience I want you to remember and cherish. My style is very true to color and I do light skin editing to make sure you look just how you did that day. If you would like more extensive edits that is completely fine and can be requested.
Our fist set up was a gorgeous red lace dress Emily picked from my client closet. This is a gorgeous piece and is perfect for the tossing the dress photo that everyone loves. All dresses you see in my portfolio is a dress from my client closet that are welcome to wear. I prove all the dresses and fabrics for your session as well as professional hair/makeup for you.
Our second set up was a beautiful all black setup. For this one i wanted to create something original and give Emily a picture that I knew she would love. Emily came in with some inspiration for viral photo where the person was suspended by Ariel ropes. This is a beautiful photo however is extremely dangerous for a pregnant person if not using professional Ariel ropes and equipment. She knew this was a possibly because one her photographers that she reached out to ended up not being a good fit for this reason. Even though, we couldn’t do the set up she envisioned, i wanted to make a one of kind special photo for her. We ended up with this gorgeous photo and I couldn’t be happier. The movement captures from her hair being tossed and the soft tulle out lining her belly made this image come to life!
We did a bunch of other sets including gorgeous backlit images and the infamous cream tulle fluffy dress everyone loves. I am so happy with the images Emily and her partner chose and even more happy that they just fell in LOVE with their gallery as much as I did!
