Cake smashes are one of the most fun sessions for all! It’s not only a celebration for your baby but its a celebration for you as a parent making it through baby’s first year. I start cake smashes off by getting some before smash photos so you get some beautiful portraits before baby gets too messy. Then we move to the cake smash where we see how baby reacts to the cake, some love it and some are very skeptical. After the smash, we end the session in an adorable mini claw foot tub for a splash session to get all cleaned up for the ride home. Bathtub photos are not only adorable but a great way to get real genuine smiles from baby while they go splash crazy in the tub.
Avery rocked her cake smash! She was all smiles for portraits and kept the energy up all the way until we finished in the bathtub. She LOVED it! Her mom and I have been planning her sets for a few months now. We wanted to do a green floral fairy garden look to make Averys red hair pop! I special ordered the green outfit she wore in her portraits so that we could keep with the green theme. I think we did amazing and her hair really shines in all her sets!
