This sweet couple were so sweet. You could tell they were already so in love with their little one. Maroua went with my belly to baby package, so I got to see their adorable baby Talia while she was still in mom's belly and again at her newborn session. This session was so beautiful. We got to do some amazing photos inside and then ended outside with the beautiful waterfront view.

Yishan was 32 weeks along with her sweet baby Evelyn. Check out Evelyn's newborn session here! I like to schedule maternity sessions when you are 32-35 weeks that way you are nice and round, but not too uncomfortable. Maternity sessions get you moving! This beautiful mom rocked her session. We did studio portraits and then went outside for some gorgeous scenery photos. It was raining that day, but Yishan wanted to power through and ended up loving the rainy look the photos have.

Rose reached out to me early on in her pregnancy. They had just moved here and wanted to get a head start on booking Rose's maternity session and their little girl's newborn sessions. I just love the simple soft look we got during the studio portion and the beautiful golden light we got outside. Her gallery is beautiful! Rose opted for me to keep her stretch marks in the picture because she wanted to remember her body exactly how it was. I have some moms that ask me to edit it out, but you let me know what you're comfortable with. Both ways are beautiful! They ended up getting one of their outdoor couple photos as a canvas for their home and I got to see Rose's sweet baby girl a couple months later.

The Maternity Experience
The first step to finding if we are the best fit is filling out my contact form! From here I will explain the whole session process and everything I have to offer to you. I love providing everything for each of your sessions. My goal is to make your life as stress-free as possible : )
1. Say Hello
Once you've heard the amazing experience you're going to have and how everything works it is time to pick if you want just a newborn session or a maternity session as well. My most popular package is my belly to baby session that includes both sessions, all the dresses, baby props/accessories, and professional hair and makeup the morning for each session.
2. Planning it
Once your session fee is paid you will be sent your "Welcome Email." This email has all the details for your session including a copy of the investment guide, questionnaire, and contract. Your questionnaire is where you can let me know all your colors, anything I should know, and what you would like to see at your dream session. Once I have received your questionnaire forms we will schedule a date when you are 31-34 weeks in term.
3. Schedule it
We start the afternoon by greeting you at the door. We will then head into the dress room . I have a variety of different colors, sizes, and styles. You will be able to pick 3-4 different looks for in studio and then 1 dress for outside ( you are also welcome to bring your own for a more casual outdoor look). After we pick dresses you will head to my hair and makeup studio where you'll meet your makeup and hair artists for the day. They are amazing and are there to create your dream look so please feel free to bring any inspiration pictures you have. After you are done getting pampered , you'll change into your first dress and meet me in the studio room. After we had some fun jamming to your favorite music and getting some beautiful pictures, I'll have you change into your last outside dress and we will head to the outdoor location only 10 minutes away from my studio.
4. Your Session
Your session is done and now you can't wait to see your beautiful gallery! We will schedule a reveal appointment fo you to come in and see all your beautiful images . We will start with a slideshow of all the images and then you will be able to choose your favorites! It can be an emotional process for everyone in the room. I love watching my client 's sweet reaction. You may even cry and that's okay tissues are on stand by haha. I even get choked up sometimes !
5. Your Photographs
Your session $250 fee is the only payment due to hold your spot on my calendar. Your session fee includes the time and talent of your photographer, styling of your session, props and wardrobe for the duration of your session, your viewing and ordering appointment approximately 1 week after your session takes place, professional retouching of your images, and hand delivery of your products to your home if needed. A session fee and signed contract are required to secure your session. Session fee payments are non-refundable and are required to book your session.

It is easy to see that Jaclyn is an amazing photographer. All you have to do is look at the photos she has taken and you can see that. What the photos don’t show you, however, is her amazing personality. She is very welcoming and is a magical baby whisperer. She had our little girl happy and comfortable for two hours during the shoot. Not only is she great with babies, but she was patient and so sweet to our six year old. She let him help pick out headbands, asked his opinion about poses, and answered all 5,000 questions he had with a smile on her face. She made us feel comfortable and accommodated all picture requests we had. Her home studio felt welcoming and she made us all really comfortable.

We had our newborn session with Jaclyn and couldn’t be more impressed! She was so well prepared, taking time to ensure that all the different set ups were complimentary and unique to our little guys skin tone, baby room, theme, etc. She is incredibly sweet and patient, even with a fussy lil guy that was much more interested in watching her than sleeping. She was genuinely kind and reassuring, supportive of nursing him or giving him a break whenever he needed it. Not to mention she’s such an easy going person. I loved being able to chat with her throughout the session.
You can tell she’s passionate about her work as she takes time to work out all the details of her props, set ups, poses, etc. we enjoyed this session and we can’t wait to work with her again!

I have been with Jaclyn since December of 2017 and only wish that I had been with her longer. She is one of the most amazing, talented, kindest, and patient professional/friend that you will come across. She is responsive to any questions you have and has the best checklist before coming. Then she provides everything that you could need (hair, makeup, outfits) and tailors your session to make it unique. Babies have a mind of their own so sessions won’t always go how you think they will but she is so accommodating to feeding, snack breaks or just a break in general to recoup. She makes sure that you love your pictures and has a way to make you feel beautiful inside and out! Any service that Jaclyn provides, I guarantee that you will not regret it and you will be so glad that you did.

Jaclyn did an incredible job capturing our newborn photos. She went above and beyond. As newborns go, our 2 hour session became a 4 hour one when our son didn’t want to cooperate. She was patient and kind and did what it took to capture a beautiful moment for us. HIGHLY recommend!

Jaclyn is like the baby whisperer! She took so much time during our newborn session to make sure we got all the shots we wanted. It was relaxed and comfortable during the session. Jaclyn was calm, cool, and collected when we arrived with our very disgruntled one-year old! We were panicked that we wouldn't get any good photos and it couldn't have been more opposite. Jaclyn was so patient with our sweet girl (and us!) and I actually LOVED the shots she got in the beginning when she was still teary and timid. Then it was fun and chaos with the cake smash and bath session! Jaclyn had great ideas and captured our girl so well. THANK YOU!
1 year session
Where to start? Jaclyn is awesome. We came to her for newborn photos. Super professional. Entered her studio and it shows she’s prepared for new born photos, with a warm studio comforting for a naked newborn. She is super patient and very attentive to detail. We were amazed by the photos we received. I would recommend her to anyone looking for newborn photos. Unfortunately for her, our son gave her a good spray of his pee and she was so graceful about it and wasn’t even phased.

When is the best time to book my maternity session?
The best time to book your maternity session is when you are 12-20 weeks along. This is also a good time to secure your newborn session.
When will my maternity session be scheduled?
Maternity sessions are best done when you are 30-35 weeks along. If your having multiples the session moves up and we will aim for 28-30 weeks. Once you're booked I'll reach out to hair/makeup right away so we can secure a date and get you all set up for your session.
Do I have to bring anything for the portrait session?
All i recommend to bring is a nude strapless bra and seamless nude thong. For outfits, unless you have a certain outfit you would like to wear, I have a full dress room for you to choose from! If we are doing couple and family photos all you'll have to bring is the other outfits for your family. I will send over a prep guide with a style guide and we will pick the best outfits that will work for your session. I'm here to help!
Are sibling and family photos included?
Yes, I always encourage significant others and siblings to jump in for a few!
If I choose an album can I combine my maternity and newborn photos into one album?
Yes, I actually recommend this so all your photos are in one place. My Fine Art album is the perfect album to display both session in.
