am Jaclyn and I specialize in studio newborn and maternity photography in San Marcos, Texas, New Braunfels, Austin, San Antonio, & the surrounding areas. I have been photographing mother's, babies, and their families for over 10 years. I am passionate about what I do and my goal is to capture the true personality of your entire family.
As your photographer, I want to give you the full experience! I am one phone call away to you through the entire process. I schedule a limited number of sessions each month to make sure I can give you the one-on-one attention you deserve. We will discuss how to customize your session to be unique for your family and find the best way for you to showcase your new heirlooms. You won’t have to worry about your little one because newborn safety is of upmost important to me. My goal is to provide you with a stress-free experience for you and your family. You will be able to relax while I handle everything.
I will treat your newborn with care and your children with kindness. My goal is to capture those genuine smiles, so our session will be filled with lots of tickles, jokes, silly faces, etc. I have many tricks up my sleeve to make your kiddos laugh. Those genuine smiles are always my favorite!
I am so passionate about newborn and maternity portraiture. I love being able to provide families with heirloom art products that they can pass down for generations to come and offer an experience unlike any other! My clients describe my style as natural and true to color. I want you to look like you, so it's important to me that I get everything perfect in camera. That way I am just doing some clean up and final touches when editing.
For newborn sessions, all you have to bring is baby and I do the rest! Same goes for maternity. I have a variety of props and different gowns for you to choose from so no need to buy anything new! Hair and make up is included at both maternity and newborn sessions. Picture day can be a stressful time for anyone, but no worries I will have everything ready to go when you arrive. I will send you a prep guide and questionnaire prior to your session, so you can prepare for a successful session and you can tell me everything that will make your dream session come true. At JSP we've got you covered. My team and I will take care of everything.

I love anything and everything about photography. I've always know I would work with kids in some way. That is a big reason why I started photography at the young age of 15! When I'm not working I love cooking and hanging out with my friends and family. My favorite food is pretty much ANYTHING! I've recently love trying Asian, Korean, and Japanese cuisine. My favorite drink is iced coffee, coca cola, water, or Tea ( how can you be in Texas and not like sweet tea?!) My favorite color is orange and I love being simple. You'll notice that's how I approach photography as well.

My Favorite Things
Coffee and music are the things that feed my soul. My coffee order is usually a vanilla cold brew and I'll add cold foam if I'm feeling frisky haha. I love to listen to music anytime I can. In the Fall I like pumpkin anything! Pumpkin cold brew is my favorite at Starbucks. My music taste is all over the place. I love 70's like Fleetwood Mac, Indy pop, Indy rock, or really anything that has a good tune. If you have a favorite song or genre of music let me know at your session! We are always blasting music at maternity sessions. Newborn sessions, our music is white noise lol.
Coffee & music
I love traveling! I haven't done a ton but my most recent trip was to Massachusetts. We flew in to Boston and then stayed in Wayland, Ma to be right in the middle of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. It was a blast and I can't wait to go on so many more adventures!

It is easy to see that Jaclyn is an amazing photographer. All you have to do is look at the photos she has taken and you can see that. What the photos don’t show you, however, is her amazing personality. She is very welcoming and is a magical baby whisperer. She had our little girl happy and comfortable for two hours during the shoot. Not only is she great with babies, but she was patient and so sweet to our six year old. She let him help pick out headbands, asked his opinion about poses, and answered all 5,000 questions he had with a smile on her face. She made us feel comfortable and accommodated all picture requests we had. Her home studio felt welcoming and she made us all really comfortable.
newborn session
We had our newborn session with Jaclyn and couldn’t be more impressed! She was so well prepared, taking time to ensure that all the different set ups were complimentary and unique to our little guys skin tone, baby room, theme, etc. She is incredibly sweet and patient, even with a fussy lil guy that was much more interested in watching her than sleeping. She was genuinely kind and reassuring, supportive of nursing him or giving him a break whenever he needed it. Not to mention she’s such an easy going person. I loved being able to chat with her throughout the session.
You can tell she’s passionate about her work as she takes time to work out all the details of her props, set ups, poses, etc. we enjoyed this session and we can’t wait to work with her again!
newborn session
I have been with Jaclyn since December of 2017 and only wish that I had been with her longer. She is one of the most amazing, talented, kindest, and patient professional/friend that you will come across. She is responsive to any questions you have and has the best checklist before coming. Then she provides everything that you could need (hair, makeup, outfits) and tailors your session to make it unique. Babies have a mind of their own so sessions won’t always go how you think they will but she is so accommodating to feeding, snack breaks or just a break in general to recoup. She makes sure that you love your pictures and has a way to make you feel beautiful inside and out! Any service that Jaclyn provides, I guarantee that you will not regret it and you will be so glad that you did.
1 year baby plan
Jaclyn did an incredible job capturing our newborn photos. She went above and beyond. As newborns go, our 2 hour session became a 4 hour one when our son didn’t want to cooperate. She was patient and kind and did what it took to capture a beautiful moment for us. HIGHLY recommend!

Jaclyn is like the baby whisperer! She took so much time during our newborn session to make sure we got all the shots we wanted. It was relaxed and comfortable during the session. She has an extensive array of backdrops, wraps, props, and newborn outfits. She handles all my annoying questions with grace. I am so happy with the final results! Highly recommend!

Jaclyn was calm, cool, and collected when we arrived with our very disgruntled one-year old! We were panicked that we wouldn't get any good photos and it couldn't have been more opposite. Jaclyn was so patient with our sweet girl (and us!) and I actually LOVED the shots she got in the beginning when she was still teary and timid. Then it was fun and chaos with the cake smash and bath session! Jaclyn had great ideas and captured our girl so well. THANK YOU!
1 year session
Where to start? Jaclyn is awesome. We came to her for newborn photos. Super professional. Entered her studio and it shows she’s prepared for new born photos, with a warm studio comforting for a naked newborn. She is super patient and very attentive to detail. We were amazed by the photos we received. I would recommend her to anyone looking for newborn photos. Unfortunately for her, our son gave her a good spray of his pee and she was so graceful about it and wasn’t even phased.
